2. Drew Galloway Talks About Defending His TNA World Heavyweight Championship Against Bobby Lashley Tonight At Slammiversary 2016
The current TNA World Heavyweight Champion Drew Galloway will defend his title against Bobby Lashley in the main event of Slammiversary 2016 tonight. During a recent interview with Total Wrestling Magazine, Galloway discussed facing Lashley, his Title match & more. Below are the highlights:
Bobby Lashley:
“He’s a different kind of athlete. He’s like a Brock Lesnar kind of athlete where they can do, literally, absolutely anything. They’re just genetically insane, they train insane, and when they put their mind to something, they’re going to do it. He’s the first ever guy to do MMA and pro wrestling at the same time.”
Rolling with Lashley in the ring:
“I legit have tried him a couple of times, and I’ve legit lost a couple of times where we’ve rolled around the ring together. I’m willing to do that. I won’t stop.”

Speaking of Galloway, during a recent interview with Channel Guide Magazine, he talked about the recent WWE releases and below is what he said:
“For selfish reasons, I just want to be around all my friends. The reality is there are such talented guys out there right now. You have Cody Rhodes, who is starting his plan. He is a smart guy and starting to plant the seeds. He is going to be just fine like I was. Damien Sandow is already getting himself out there. Whatever he decides to do, he will do well. Wade Barrett and I are very close friends. He is taking time out and enjoying the first bit of time off he has had in a while. You never know where he will turn up. So, selfishly, I would like to be around all my buddies. They would be massive assets to any company.”
