8. Bobby Roode Makes His NXT Debut
Former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Roode made his NXT debut today during a Live Event in the United Kingdom at the Download Festival. He defeated Angelo Dawkins in his NXT in-ring debut.

7. Cody Rhodes To Face Johnny Gargano In EVOLVE Wrestling
It was announced at last night’s EVOLVE 62 iPPV that Cody Rhodes will make his EVOLVE debut on August 19 when he faces Johnny Gargano. The match will take place in Joppa, Maryland at the MCW Arena.
The current storyline for the match is that Cody joined TNA’s Ethan Carter III & the TNA World Heavyweight Champion Drew Galloway (f.k.a Drew McIntyre in WWE). They are currently feuding with Gargano. At last night’s iPPV, Chris Hero also joined them (f.k.a Kassius Ohno in NXT).
Speaking of Cody Rhodes, today is the 1 year death anniversary of his father, WWE Hall of Famer “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes.
