6. First Ever Ladder Match In New Japan Pro Wrestling History

During NJPW’s “Dominion 6.19 in Osaka-jo Hall” PPV, which took place earlier today, the first ladder match in New Japan Pro Wrestling history took place when Kenny Omega defended his IWGP Intercontinental Championship against Michael Elgin in that match.

Below is what Kenny Omega said about the first ever Ladder match in NJPW:

“I just really felt that it was a step that New Japan Pro Wrestling should take. New Japan has been very protective of the classical style… there’s nothing wrong with that, it’s a tried and tested formula, right? It’s gotten them this far, it’s gotten wrestling to this point. But I don’t think it necessarily has to be restricted to that, especially when Bullet Club is supposed to be a group of foreigners…”

5. UFC Legend Says Brock Lesnar Is Afraid Of Getting Hit

During a recent interview with Hollywood Life, UFC Legend Chuck Liddell addressed former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar’s return to the sport of MMA at next month’s historic UFC 200.

Liddell said Mark Hunt can beat Lesnar as Lesnar is afraid of getting hit:

“He was a good college wrestler, but he is afraid to get hit. That makes things dangerous — when you have a guy that can punch, and if he can stop Brock’s takedowns a little bit, then Brock is in a lot of trouble. I mean, he is tough and has heart because he will still fight and still keep coming and I will give him that. He has heart and he fights hard, but he is very afraid of the punch. So you just have to start punching him!”

Speaking of Lesnar, he’s allowed to use his WWE theme song at UFC 200.
