• Old School WWF Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WWF Veteran Duke “The Dumpster” Droese (Real name: Michael Droese) celebrates his 52nd birthday today.

Duke Droese wrestled for the World Wrestling Federation from 1994 till 1996, although with very little success, other than winning a Slammy Award in late 1994.

The Dumpster entered both, the 1995 and the 1996 edition of the 30-man Royal Rumble match, but didn’t even come close to win either one of them.

He returned for one night in 2001, when he entered the famous gimmick battle royal at WrestleMania X-Seven.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DUKE DROESE!

• WWE NXT Episode To Be Preempted In September, Reason Behind It

A new episode of WWE NXT is scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, but it seems like it’ll be rescheduled soon.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the episode may be moved from Wednesday, September 2 to Tuesday, September 1, because the NHL playoffs are set to air on USA Network on September 2 during NXT’s time slot.

This means that there won’t be a ratings war between AEW Dynamite and NXT in two weeks. AEW probably has a stacked show planned on that day because it will be the go-home show to the All Out pay-per-view on September 5.
