– WWE NXT The Great American Bash 2024 (Night 1) kicked off with Hank Walker & Tank Ledger attempting to sneak into the Performances Center.
– Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn (c) def. Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson to retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
– Ethan Page attempted to hit Oro Mensah with the NXT Championship, but Oro saw it coming and dodged. Oro pinned Page once again. They will square off for the NXT Title next week.
– Pete Dunne said that he is young & bitter, and claimed anyone else would be as well if they went through what he did. Dunne said the one time he turned to somebody for advice was Sheamus, where he got a terrible name in Butch, and got a front row seat to the Sheamus show.
Dunne said Sheamus went home and left him with Ridge Holland, who ran away when things got tough, and later he found a new team with Tyler Bate, but Bate got injured and is now recovering. Dunne said none of them are like him, and neither is Trick Williams, and challenged Trick to a match for next week.
– Tony D’ Angelo (c) def. Tavion Heights to retain the NXT Heritage Cup
– Cedric Alexander def. Brooks Jensen
– TNA star Joe Hendry held a concert, but got attacked by Gallus.
– Jaida Parker def. Kendal Grey
– Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne & Jazmyn Nyx def. Lola Vice, Sol Ruca & Karmen Petrovic
– Roxanne Perez (c) def. Thea Hail to retain the NXT Women’s Championship
