WWE NXT Results
– Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion Cody Rhodes kicked off the show and said he has some announcements. Men will also have a Breakout Tournament in NXT. Also, the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic is coming back. Cody then announced that Shawn Michaels has made him the General Manager for NXT for tonight’s show.
NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov then came out and fans chanted “Happy Birthday”. Dragunov praised Cody’s passion. NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio and Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley came out. Dirty Dom said Ilja doesn’t compare to him.
Dominik challenged Ilja for the NXT Championship. Ilja accepted the challenge and said he’s gonna smash Rhea’s boy. Cody made the match official. Cody then made LA Knight the Special Guest Referee for this match.
– Shotzi announced on commentary that she, along with Scarlett, will host Night 1 of NXT Halloween Havoc on October 24.
– Asuka def. Roxanne Perez
Shotzi attacked Kiana James after the match.
– Butch, Ridge Holland & Tyler Bate def. Gallus in a Pub Fight
– John Cena came out to a huge ovation. Fans chanted “Thank You Cena”. Cena put over the NXT atmosphere. Cena said he respects Carmelo Hayes because they share the same values. Bron Breakker then came out. Fans sing “Bron Breakker Sucks”. Cena said he has heard this song, but it feels good with the change in lyrics. Breakker said the fans didn’t come here to see Cena, they came here to see him.
Cena said he’s excited for Breakker’s match and wants to respectfully wish him good luck. Cena offered a handshake, but Breakker punched him. Breakker went for the Spear, but Cena countered and picked him up for the Attitude Adjustment, but Breakker managed to escape.
– Tony D’Angelo proposed a Tag Team Battle Royal to Cody Rhodes to challenge The Family for the NXT Tag Team Championship at Halloween Havoc. Cody booked it for next week.
– Baron Corbin said Ilja Dragunov doesn’t want to face him and only accepted Dominik Mysterio’s challenge because he knows he can win that match.
– Ilja Dragnunov (c) def. NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio to retain the NXT Championship
Special Guest Referee LA Knight and Trick Williams prevented Judgment Day from interfering. Corbin came out after the match, but DIJAK attacked Ilja and said to Corbin that he beat him to it.
– John Cena met Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams backstage.
– Jade Cargill arrived and met Shawn Michaels.
– Cody Rhodes booked a Triple Threat Match for next week: Baron Corbin vs. DIJAK vs. the winner of Bron Breakker vs. Carmelo Hayes. Winner of this match will face Ilja Dragunov for the NXT Championship at Halloween Havoc.
– Lola Vice def. Dani Palmer to advance to the next round of the Women’s Breakout Tournament
– Paul Heyman met Bron Breakker backstage and said Breakker is the future of the main event of WrestleMania.
– Brian Pillman Jr. said he lost his father when he was 4 and he doesn’t want to be known by his dead father’s name anymore.
– Carmelo Hayes (with John Cena) def. Bron Breakker (with Paul Heyman)
Cena attacked Breakker during the match. Solo Sikoa came out and they brawled to the back. Breakker attacked Hayes after the match. This led to WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker coming out on his Motorcycle.

Bron called Undertaker an old timer. Undertaker said Bron is going to be a very special talent one day, but it ain’t today. Taker laid out Breakker with a right hand and then delivered a massive, picture-perfect Chokeslam!

AEW Dynamite Results
– Eddie Kingston (c) def. Minoru Suzuki to retain the ROH World Championship & NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship on the Buy-In pre-show
– Jon Moxley has not been cleared yet. It will now be Rey Fenix defending the AEW International Championship against Orange Cassidy.
– TNT Champion Christian Cage kicked off the show and declared that he got the first 30 minutes of Dynamite to be commercial free.
– Bryan Danielson def. Swerve Strickland to become the #1 Contender for the TNT Championship
Danielson will face Christian Cage for the TNT Title this coming Saturday on Collision.
– Powerhouse Hobbs (with Don Callis) def. Chris Jericho
Hobbs attacked Jericho after the match and absolutely destroyed the WWF Legend.
– Orange Cassidy def. Rey Fenix (c) to win the AEW International Championship
– Wardlow def. Matt Sydal
– Along with appearing on tonight’s NXT, John Cena appeared on Dynamite too in a way, as he appeared in the picture-in-picture commercial break:
– Jay White def. “Hangman” Adam Page
After the match, MJF came out and asked Jay to do the right thing and give him back the AEW World Title. Jay said he will not and told MJF to find 3 people that can tolerate him to face Bullet Club Gold. Juice Robinson pulled out a roll of quarters and threatened to pelt MJF with them and break his jaw.
– Hikaru Shida def. Saraya (c) to win the AEW Women’s World Championship
Shida is now the first ever 3-time AEW Women’s World Champion. Saraya is shocked.

– Max Caster went to MJF and offered to have The Acclaimed team up with him against Bullet Club Gold.
– Christian Cage saud that the reason Adam Copeland wants to team up with him is because Adam needs him, while he doesn’t need Adam. Christian declared that Luchasaurus will end Adam, but not to worry because Beth Phoenix and his kids will be taken care of.
– Edge aka Adam Copeland def. Luchasaurus
The heels attacked Edge after the match, which led to Bryan Danielson, Darby Allin, “Hangman” Adam Page, Claudio Castagnoli, Swerve Strickland & Gates of Agony getting involved. Bryan put Christian in the LeBell Lock and made him tap out.
