WWE NXT vs. AEW Dynamite Results – Injury During World Title Match

A special LIVE Tuesday night episode of AEW Dynamite aired tonight, and it went head-to-head against WWE NXT.

This was the 1st time that Dynamite vs. NXT took place since April 2021. Below are the results:

WWE NXT

– Rhea Ripley (with Judgment Day) def. Roxanne Perez

– Chucky told Grayson Waller that his match against Apollo Crews at Halloween Havoc will be decided by “Spin The Wheel, Make A Deal”.

– Shinsuke Nakamura def. Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo

– Alba Fyre def. Sonya Deville

After the match, Toxic Attraction attacked Alba. NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose said that Alba made the wrong decision by abducting her and will pay for it at Halloween Havoc. Alba got a hold of her bat and fought them away.

– Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams def. Wes Lee & Oro Mensah

– Cameron Grimes & The Good Brothers (Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson) def. Schism

– Shotzi is named the host of Halloween Havoc. Xyon Quinn interrupted and said that he should be the co-host. “The Super Diva” Quincy Elliott came out and said that he should be the co-host instead. Shotzi said that the winner of their match can be the co-host.

– Quincy Elliott def. Xyon Quinn to become the co-host of Halloween Havoc

– Cora Jade def. Raquel Rodriguez via DQ after Raquel hit Cora with a Kendo Stick

After the match, Roxanne Perez attacked Cora, but Cora managed to escape.

– Kevin Owens held The Kevin Owens Show with the NXT Championship participants. A brawl broke out and security tried to separate them, but they got taken out. Austin Theory came out and teased a Money In The Bank cash-in.

AEW Dynamite

– Death Triangle (c) def. AEW All-Atlantic Champion Orange Cassidy & Best Friends to retain the AEW World Trios Championship

– Toni Storm (c) def. Hikaru Shida to retain the Interim AEW Women’s World Championship

After the match, Britt Baker, Jamie Hayter, & Rebel attack Toni, which led to Saraya & Riho making the save.

– FTR said they are the rightful #1 Contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland interrupted and said FTR will have to go through them first. Dax issued a challenge for next week.

– Jay Lethal & Sonjay Dutt attacked Darby Allin and trapped him under a steel door and continued to beat him down.

– MJF recalled having a tryout match for William Regal, Arn Anderson, Adam Pearce & Dean Malenko when he was 19 and impressed them all, but was turned down an offer because he was too young.

MJF said Regal sent him an email turning him down and it made him want to kill himself. MJF said the tables have turned and that Regal is a withered old man that was fired and is now like a succubus clinging onto better wrestlers than he ever was while MJF is destined to be a World Champion.

Regal said he knew MJF had potential and wanted to light a fire under him to get him to that next level. Regal told MJF that he’s had it easy so far and had people help him, and wants him not to take shortcuts and defeat everyone to prove he’s better. Regal offered MJF a free hit, but MJF declined.

– During a sit-down interview with Renee Paquette, Bryan Danielson is saddened by Daniel Garcia’s betrayal, as he thought he would be able to change him. Wheeler Yuta called out Bryan and questioned how Bryan didn’t see Garcia turning on him from a mile away.

– Chris Jericho (c) Dalton Castle to retain the ROH World Championship

After the match, The Jericho Appreciation Society beat down Castle & The Boys. Jerry Lynn came out and Jericho took him out with a Tombstone Piledriver on the ROH Title.

– Jon Moxley (c) def. Hangman Page via Referee Stoppage to retain the AEW World Championship after Hangman suffered an injury

After the match, Moxley called out MJF to cash-in his Poker Chip and face him right now for the AEW World Title.

MJF came out and said he’s going to prove William Regal wrong and earn it and announced that he will cash-in his Poker Chip and face Moxley for the Title in the main event of Full Gear 2022.
