The Undertaker returned to WWE programming on the post-WrestleMania 35 edition of RAW and laid out Elias with a Chokeslam and a Tombstone Piledriver.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, The Undertaker thought his career in WWE was over last year and he started taking outside bookings and that’s when WWE interfered.

Below is what Meltzer said:

“Undertaker thought his career was over after the match in Australia [and Saudi Arabia] and started lining up outside paydays. After the Starrcast thing went public, Vince [McMahon] got mad and when things calmed down between the two, WWE made him an offer he couldn’t refuse financially and part of the contract was an agreement he could no longer do those type of dates.”

The Undertaker is now scheduled to face Elias at WWE’s next Saudi Arabia PPV in June.
