• WWE Officials Not Happy With Randy Orton’s News Leaking
As we noted before, there was speculation that Randy Orton suffered a knee injury at a recent WWE Live Event, but Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer shot down the rumors and revealed that it was a storyline.
As seen on RAW, it ended up being a storyline as Orton tricked AJ Styles into thinking he was injured and then RKOed him.
Tom Colohue is reporting that WWE officials weren’t happy with news of Orton’s injury being a work being leaked:
“I’m hearing that a lot of people in WWE management are furious that Dave Meltzer leaked backstage information about this week’s Randy Orton storyline.
One person told me that they believe that creative find it much harder to write when everyone already knows the ending.”
