Hulk Hogan’s appearance on this week’s RAW made waves after fans in attendance loudly booed him, overshadowing the purpose of his segment.

The Hulkster was on the show to help hype WWE’s Netflix debut and promote his Real American Beer, one of WWE’s new sponsors. However, the overwhelming negative reaction has led to questions about his future appearances on WWE programming.

According to Fightful Select, Hogan was originally scheduled for several future appearances, but his role may now be reevaluated. The report noted:

“Many we talked to in the company weren’t happy that was a common talking point emerging from such an important night for WWE. There were specifically a number of people that told us they brought up the possibility that he would get booed.”

WWE reportedly limited Hogan’s segment to the entrance ramp due to his physical condition, but the negative crowd reaction caught many backstage off guard. Sources indicated that Hogan was “surprised and disappointed” by the response but chose to brush it off.

One insider stated that WWE might reassess how Hogan is used moving forward, considering the polarizing reactions he generates.

A potential strategy mentioned is involving more modern WWE talents or legends with a less divisive history to endorse similar products or segments.

This development comes after earlier reports from WrestleVotes, suggesting Hogan’s appearances might already be scaled back, with future roles focusing on pre-recorded content rather than live in-ring segments. The fallout from this appearance could further accelerate those plans.
