• WWE Permanently Moving Heavyweight Wrestler To 205 Live To Increase Viewership
As seen on last week’s episode of WWE programming, Old School WWF Veteran Goldust worked Cruiserweight tag team matches on Raw & 205 Live.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer noted that Goldust will now be working 205 Live/Cruiserweight division matches on Raw from now despite weighing more than 205 pounds (WWE’s current Cruiserweight limit).
The reason behind this move is that WWE thinks established Raw Superstars will help in increasing 205 Live viewership and interest. WWE recently added WOKEN Matt Hardy vs. Bray Wyatt match to the upcoming 205 Live exclusive Live Events due to low ticket sales.
