• WWE Planning To Put An End To Wednesday Night Wars

WWE NXT has been airing on Wednesday nights over the years, but it started getting some competition since the debut of AEW Dynamite in October 2019.

Due to NHL games airing on USA Network on September 2nd and September 9th, NXT was moved to September 1st and September 8th (Tuesday nights).

WrestleVotes is now reporting that the black and gold brand might be moving to another night permanently going forward. Talks regarding the move are going on, and WWE will take the decision after judging NXT’s performance this Tuesday and the upcoming one.

“Over the past month or so, discussions have transpired regarding NXT moving off Wednesday nights. No decision imminent, however, talks are ongoing. The numbers over the next 2 weeks might have some impact on this decision.”

If WWE makes the decision to not air NXT on Wednesday nights, then that would put an end to the Wednesday Night Wars with AEW Dynamite.
