• WWE Planning To Split A Tag Team On RAW

At the Clash Of Champions pay-per-view, The Street Profits defended the RAW Tag Team Championship against Andrade and Angel Garza. The match ended in a botched way because of Angel Garza suffering an injury.

As we noted before, Garza revealed that he suffered a partial quadriceps tear and will be out of action for about 3 weeks.

PWInsider is reporting that WWE doesn’t plan to have Garza and Andrade continue as a team when Garza returns.

“We are told the Andrade and Angel Garza tag team is no more going forward.”

The team has been hinting a break up over the past summer, and it seems like that Garza and Andrade will also part ways with Zelina Vega getting into the wrestling role.

• Old School WWF Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WWF Veteran Rhyno (Real name: Terrance Gerin) celebrates his 45th birthday today.

After doing jobs on weekly WWF TV & weekly WCW TV as ‘Terry Richards’ during the mid-90s, he ended up joining Paul Heyman’s Extreme Championship Wrestling in 1999, where he was known as ‘Rhino’.

Rhino stayed with ECW till the bitter end and ended up being the last ever ECW World Heavyweight Champion when the promotion folded, not counting the WWE version of ECW that aired between 2006 and 2010.

When ECW closed its doors, Vince McMahon signed him to a WWF contract and the name changed from ‘Rhino’ to ‘Rhyno’, similar to Taz becoming Tazz a little bit earlier.

Rhyno stayed with the WWF (later WWE) till 2005, went to TNA and won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

He returned to the WWE in 2015 and left in 2019 to return to TNA, which is now called iMPACT Wrestling.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RHYNO!
