This week’s episode of WWE Raw saw new feuds, debuts, tournament and more matches being announced for the upcoming WWE Payback 2016 PPV.

Let’s take a look at 10 important things that should be noted from the show:
10. Shane McMahon In Charge of Raw Again
Shane O’Mac was in charge of Monday Night Raw yet again this week. There have been backstage talks in WWE regarding the outcome of The Undertaker – Shane McMahon Hell in a Cell match from WrestleMania 32 not meaning much as Shane is running Raw, which shouldn’t have happened after his loss at WrestleMania.
Shane gave Sami Zayn another opportunity by putting him in a match with AJ Styles with the stipulation being “If Zayn wins, he will enter the Payback 2016 WWE World Title match”.
Also, Shane booked Owens vs. Cesaro in a #1 Contender’s match for the Intercontinental Title.
9. Natalya Wants The WWE Women’s Championship
Natalya faced Charlotte for the Women’s Championship on this week’s Raw. Natalya managed to make Charlotte tap-out to the Sharpshooter, but she didn’t win the Title.
The reason behind this was that “The Dirtiest Player in the Game” Ric Flair pulled the referee out of the ring when Natalya had the Sharpshooter locked-in on Charlotte.
This resulted in the referee disqualifying Charlotte and announcing Natalya as the winner via DQ, and not submission.
It looks like Natalya will face Charlotte for the Women’s Championship again at Payback 2016.
8. Intercontinental Championship Match Confirmed For Payback 2016
“The Swiss Superman” Cesaro battled “The Prizefighter” Kevin Owens in a #1 contender’s match for the Intercontinental Title on Raw.
Cesaro managed to knock off KO with the Neutralizer and will now face the current Intercontinental Champion The Miz at WWE Payback 2016 for the Title.
