Below are 5 important things that should be noted from last night’s WWE Raw:
5. Class Act By John Cena
Last night’s main event was a US Title Open Challenge match between the current champion John Cena & former US Champion Cesaro. This was the match of the night and Cesaro was pretty over with the Chicago crowd as they all were behind him to dethrone Cena.
After great back and forth action, Cena picked up the win after hitting an AA off the middle rope. After Raw went off the air, Cena put over Cesaro in front of the live crowd. Below is what a fan in attendance noted:
“I was at RAW and the segment after the show was amazing. As a Chicagoan who hates Cena, I have the most respect in the world for him after the speech he gave. He talked about how Cesaro deserves to be in the main event every night and that if he keeps trying he will get to the top one day. Cena also talked about how Cesaro gave him another memory he can cherish forever. Cena told Cesaro that the fans are the key to his success and “right now they love you.” Cena also told Cesaro that he can do things in the ring that no other man can do.”
