5. United States Title Rematch Ends In DQ, Jerry “The King” Lawler Signs A New WWE Contract
“The Guy” Roman Reigns got his rematch for the United States Championship against Chris Jericho tonight on Raw. The match ended with Kevin Owens interfering and attacking Reigns to cause the DQ.
After the match, Owens and Jericho tried to lock Reigns in the shark cage, but Reigns locked Owens in it and suspended the cage high above the ring and then speared Jericho.
During an interview with Cerrito Live, WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler revealed that he has signed a new one year contract with WWE.
No word is available yet on how often WWE will use Lawler. He was used last week on SmackDown Live and will commentate this Sunday at Royal Rumble 2017.
