• WWE Releases A Wrestler Due To “Policy Issue”
According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE has released NXT 2.0 wrestler Troy ‘Two Dimes’ Donovan from the company:
“This wasn’t a budget or creative decision, but a policy issue and he was told he may be brought back in a year.”
Troy was a part of Tony D’Angelo’s stable. He teamed up with D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo to defeat Legado Del Fantasma at the recent NXT In Your House 2022 event.
Donovan is 22 years old and signed with WWE back in March. He only wrestled 6 matches in WWE.
His last match took place on last week’s episode of NXT 2.0, where he teamed up with Lorenzo to lose to the team of NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams.
