• WWE Reportedly Wants Former Diva To Return Before SmackDown Moves To FOX

According to Slice Wrestling, WWE officials want Eva Marie to return to WWE programming before SmackDown moves to FOX later this year in October.

During a recent interview with TV Insider, Eva was asked about a possible return to WWE, if WWE contacted her for a return in the Women’s Royal Rumble 2019 match & more.

Below are the highlights:

On if WWE contacted her for a return in the Women’s Royal Rumble 2019 match:

“There has been emails and talk and exchanges back and forth. But no, I was not approached about being a part of the Royal Rumble. I can tell you that. Other things, there has definitely been talks for sure.”

On if she wants to return to WWE:

“Sure. I’m always going to have that itch. I absolutely love wrestling. You never know. It’s one of those things where things have totally taken off for the women of WWE. They are killing it right now. I think it’s so amazing.

Of course, if the opportunity arises and the timing is how it’s supposed to be, I definitely would come back to shake things up because I can always bring the heat. That’s for sure.”

Speaking of Eva, Charlotte Flair recently defended her when a fan disrespected her.

Charlotte put over RAW wrestler Ruby Riott ahead of Ruby’s match with RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey this Sunday at Elimination Chamber 2019 PPV.

This led to a fan tweeting the following:

“Ruby sucks she’s even worse than Eva Marie”
