Tonight’s edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event took place in San Antonio, Texas, at the Frost Bank Center. Below are the complete results.

– Rhea Ripley (c) def. Nia Jax to retain the Women’s World Championship

– Bron Breakker (c) def. Sheamus to retain the Intercontinental Championship (Jesse Ventura was on commentary for this match)

– 2-Time WWE Hall of Famer & NXT booker Shawn Michaels came out for the contract signing segment between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens for their Ladder Match for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Royal Rumble 2025 on February 1st.

Cody signed the contract right away, but Kevin picked up the mic and said last night Cody said something that pi$$ed him off. Kevin talked about how Cody said that he takes the easy way out most of the times, but Kevin said he didn’t take the easy way out at Bash In Berlin when he could’ve targeted Cody’s injured knee.

Kevin talked about how Cody left the company back in the day, but he stayed. Cody told Kevin to shut up and stop talking about the past, and just sign the contract. Kevin said after he beats Cody, he’s getting everything Cody has received from the company since his return, because he has deserved it for 10 years now.

HBK said Kevin sounds jealous. Owens said HBK also quit the company when things got tough. Owens said he has brought more prestige to the Winged Eagle Title than HBK did back in the 90s. Owens said Cody is going to be the one losing his smile this time and signed the contract.

The referee took both the titles and hung them above the ring to make the match official. Shawn wished both men best of luck. Kevin refused to shake HBK’s hand. When HBK shook Cody’s hand, Kevin punched Cody.

Kevin then kicked Michaels and was looking to hit the Package Piledriver, but Cody kicked Kevin in the face and then HBK laid out Owens with the Sweet Chin Music to end the segment!

– Jacob Fatu vs. Braun Strowman ended in a No Contest

Fatu kept hitting Strowman with the running hip attack in the corner. When the referee told Fatu to stop, Fatu attacked the referee. Braun was left busted open and Fatu didn’t stop despite referees and officials coming out, and went on to hit multiple springboard moonsaults.
