• WWE Set To Make A “Big” Announcement Tonight
A WWE Supershow (non-televised Live Event / House Show) will take place tonight at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Prior to this show, a pre-show will take place where FOX 46 anchor Kaci Jones and RAW Commentator Byron Saxton will make a “big” announcement.
Here’s what Kaci tweeted yesterday:
“I’m cohosting the @WWE Supershow pre-show for @FOX46News with @ByronSaxton tomorrow at the Spectrum Center. WE HAVE A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE QUEEN CITY!”

While nothing is known as of this writing, there’s speculation that WWE will announce an upcoming pay-per-view event in Charlotte, North Carolina.

• Old School NWA Veteran Would Have Celebrated His Birthday
Today would have been the 60th birthday of Old School NWA Legend “Nature Boy” Buddy Landel (Real name: William Ensor).
Buddy Landel wrestled for various territories during the 70s, 80s & 90s, including Mid South Wrestling, Jim Crockett Promotions, the United States Wrestling Association, Smoky Mountain Wrestling, … & many more, before he even had brief stints in the World Wrestling Federation in 1995, 1996 & 1999.
Landel won several championships during his career, such as the USWA Heavyweight Championship, the SMW Heavyweight Championship, the NWA National Heavyweight Championship, the NWA Mid-America Heavyweight Championship, the AWA Southern Heavyweight Championship , among many other titles.
