Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day.
• Brogan Finlay, the 21-year-old son of Old School WCW/WWE Veteran Fit Finlay, recently signed with WWE.
Following a tryout earlier in the year, he will undergo training at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, before eventually joining the NXT brand when ready.
Brogan has gained wrestling experience over the past two years, participating in promotions such as ACTION Wrestling, GCW, Black Label Pro, and Beyond.
Brogan is a 4th generation wrestler, as his father Finlay, his grandfather David “Dave” Finlay Sr., as well as both of his great-grandfathers William Finlay and John Liddell were professional wrestlers.
His brother David Finlay is also a wrestler, who has competed in AEW, NJPW, IMPACT Wrestling & ROH.
• According to PWInsider, former NWA Women’s Tag Team Champion Madi Wrenkowski (age 26) has signed an NXT deal.
Her last match in the National Wrestling Alliance took place in August. She began her career in 2019 and has also wrestled matches in AEW.
