• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (November 23, 1994) – Old School Wrestling Veteran Passed Away
On this day in 1994, we lost Old School Wrestling Veteran “The Juicer” Art Barr at the young age of 28 due to a drug-related heart attack.
He made a name for himself in Mexico’s Lucha Libre promotions, where he also teamed up with Eddie Guerrero, but most U.S.-wrestling fans will remember him for his 1990/1991 stint in Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling as “The Juicer”.
REST IN PEACE ART BARR!

• WWE Stars Upset Regarding Nia Jax Getting Pushed After Injuring Becky Lynch
According to the Wrestling Observer, some WWE wrestlers are upset about the fact that Nia Jax is getting pushed after legitimately injuring Becky Lynch.
As seen at Survivor Series 2018, Nia Jax was the sole survivor in the Women’s traditional Survivor Series elimination match and is now going to face Ronda Rousey for the RAW Women’s Championship at TLC 2018 PPV.
Nia’s push is being taken in two different ways backstage.
One is that this is how the Professional Wrestling business works. Accidents happen and if the incident has led to Nia drawing more heat, then they’ll use it to draw money by using it in a storyline (that’s why WWE is now calling Nia “The Face Breaker).
The second one is completely the opposite. The other thinking is that Nia is being rewarded for messing up and legitimately injuring her co-worker and causing a major PPV match to be cancelled just a week prior to the PPV.
Also, many people backstage don’t like how this isn’t the first time that Nia has injured someone or messed up in the ring.
It should be noted that the plan to do Ronda vs. Nia for the RAW Women’s Title was prior to the Nia – Becky incident. Nia won the #1 contenders Battle Royal at WWE Evolution PPV to earn the Title match.
So Nia not being punished by WWE officials can’t be completely ruled out at this point, because the punishment could begin after we’re done with TLC 2018 PPV (that’s where Ronda Rousey vs. Nia Jax II will take place).
