Who should win the Slammy award for Superstar of the year 2015? The answer is Seth Rollins.
Seth Rollins has ruled the WWE in 2015. On the first Raw of 2015, Rollins was put in the WWE World Title match at Royal Rumble. He had two matches at WrestleMania 31 and became the first person ever to cash-in the Money in the Bank contract at WrestleMania. He became the WWE World Heavyweight champion that night, and since then he has managed to hold on to his title against all top WWE Superstars, be it Randy Orton, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, John Cena & even Brock Lesnar.
Last night at WWE SummerSlam 2015, Seth Rollins added another title to his resume: WWE United States Championship, and cemented his legacy as one of the most promising & successful NXT call-ups of all time. One thing should be noted that during his feud with John Cena, Rollins is no longer being portrayed as a “coward heel”. May be it’s due to the fact that Rollins broke Cena’s nose and has gained confidence in himself. Another reason could be that WWE is planning to turn Seth Rollins into a babyface before WrestleMania 32.
