• WWE Tag Team Was Supposed To Become The Next “Road Warriors”

This past Friday, WWE released former RAW Tag Team Champions AOP from the company.

Rezar had been out of action due to a bicep injury, which also led to Akam being pulled off TV.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that this was a Vince McMahon decision, and it happened as soon as Rezar was cleared to return to the ring.

“Big surprise, nobody saw that coming. Rezar was just cleared, he tore his biceps and as soon as he was cleared he was cut.”

It was also noted that former Executive Director of RAW, Paul Heyman, wanted to make Akam and Rezar his “Road Warriors”. Triple H had the same plans for the Tag Team, as he paired them up with Paul Ellering.
