• WWE Taking Ownership Of Wrestlers’ Twitch Accounts

WWE informed their wrestlers last month to stop engaging in third party activities using their on-screen names, or they would be punished.

In an update to that report, WrestlingInc is reporting that WWE will start owning wrestlers’ Twitch accounts in 4 weeks, but they will receive a percentage of the revenue, which counts against their downside guarantees.

Vince McMahon reportedly sent out an e-mail to talents earlier this week as a reminder to stop having unauthorized business relationships with third party websites by this Friday.

Any talent who doesn’t do so may be fined, suspended or terminated.

Some wrestlers who have Twitch accounts are AJ Styles, Paige, Dakota Kai and Mia Yim.

• Old School WWF Legend Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the 54th birthday of Old School WWF Legend Yokozuna (Real name: Rodney Anoai).

WWF New Generation Era Legend Yokozuna was a former 2 time WWF World Heavyweight Champion, defeating Bret “The Hitman” Hart (WrestleMania IX) and “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan (King of the Ring 1993) for the title.

His last WWF match came at Survivor Series 1996, where teamed up Flash Funk, “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka & Savio Vega in a traditional Survivor Series elimination match that ended in a double DQ, thus ending a successful 4 year run with the WWF.

In 2012, Yokozuna was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his cousin Rikishi (Headshrinker Fatu) and Rikishi’s two sons, The Usos.
