• ON THIS DAY IN WWF HISTORY (August 21, 1988) – WWF Wrestling Challenge

On this day in 1988, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Wrestling Challenge’.

It was broadcasted from the Hara Arena in Dayton, Ohio and featured pre-taped matches, promos & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF SummerSlam 1988’ PPV.

WWE will be moving to the ThunderDome at Amway Center in Orlando, Florida tonight, after taping all of their shows since the end of March at the Performance Center.

The arena is now complete and WWE gave an early look at the massive ThunderDome.

Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles, who’ll defend his Title against Jeff Hardy at the ThunderDome tonight, commented the following on it.

“I’ve competed in buildings large and small all around the world, but man it’s gonna be GREAT to retain my #ICTitle IN THE #WWETHUNDERDOME!!!!”

RAW wrestler, Angel Garza, was also amazed by the look of the ThunderDome.

Universal Champion Braun Strowman reacted to the ThunderDome by giving a warning to “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt.

“Count your days Bray…. THE END IS NEAR FIEND!!!!#AnywhereIGoIsTheThunderDome
#SmackDown”

WWF Legend The Big Show thinks it’s incredible.

“Wow! The #WWEThunderDome set looks incredible. Awesome job by the @WWE production team!!!#LasersLightsPyro”

WWE is set to tape all of their shows until the end of October at the ThunderDome.
