• How Much Profit Does WWE Make From A House Show?
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer was recently asked the following question:
“What sort of profit (if any) can a wrestling show expect to make in an arena without taking into account merch sales? Been wondering the profit margins given the amount of employees to pay, arena rent etc.”
Below is what Meltzer replied:
“WWE averaged about $37,000 profit per house show last quarter not factoring in merchandise.”

• Will CM Punk Return At “ALL IN”?
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer recently had the following to say regarding the possibility of CM Punk returning to Pro-Wrestling at “ALL IN” (credit to Ringside news for the transcript):
“CM Punk was already announced for doing a signing at One Hour Tees the day before the show. So, of course, that leads to the obvious speculation that they will make the announcement that CM Punk is on the show. If he’s on the show and they’re in Chicago they might do real well and if he’s not on the show they might do real well anyway.
But certainly him being on the show. I think the idea of seeing his promo even if he doesn’t wrestle, the idea of him doing a promo at this stage in the game would be interesting.”
