On this day in 1989, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Wrestling Challenge’.

It was broadcasted from the Convention Center in Niagra Falls, New York and featured pre-taped matches, promos & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF SummerSlam 1989’ PPV.

On tonight’s SmackDown, Kofi Kingston challenged Randy Orton to a WWE Championship match at SummerSlam 2019 and Orton accepted.

Also, Finn Balor challenged “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt to a match at SummerSlam 2019 and Wyatt accepted.
