• WWE To Make An Announcement Regarding The Intercontinental Championship This Week

Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since defeating Daniel Bryan to retain his Title on Night 1 of WrestleMania 36.

Zayn hasn’t been working WWE events due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. He was a part of the script of SmackDown over the past couple of weeks, but he pulled out of the events.

According to Post Wrestling, WWE will address the status of Zayn and the Intercontinental Championship this week. The announcement will most likely come on Friday Night SmackDown.

As Zayn is unlikely to return, he will most probably be stripped off the Title.
