Below are a couple of top news stories of the day, involving WWE Tough Enough and AEW Rampage.
• KSNV News 3 reporter Cristen Drummond has revealed that former WWE Tough Enough contestant Daniel Rodimer is being sought for open murder.
According to the warrant, he is wanted in connection with a homicide that occurred on October 29 at Resorts World Las Vegas.
Rodimer rose to prominence as a contestant on the 2004 season of Tough Enough and later signed a developmental contract with WWE in 2006. Over the next couple of years, he competed at untelevised WWE Live Events and in WWE’s developmental territories: Deep South Wrestling and Florida Championship Wrestling.
In 2018, he entered politics by running for the Nevada State Senate but was defeated by Valerie Weber. He also ran for Nevada’s 3rd congressional district in 2019, experiencing another loss.
Notably, in 2021, Rodimer gained attention on social media after adopting a drastically different accent and persona for his campaign in the special election for Texas’s 6th congressional district.
Rodimer has faced accusations of assault on three occasions but has never been convicted. He was arrested in 2010 on battery charges and was accused of assault in 2011 and 2013, according to records from Collier County, Florida.
