• WWE Trying To Protect Raw Champion From Worsening His Injury
As we noted before, Raw Tag Team Champion Sheamus is dealing with Spinal Stenosis. As a result of this, WWE is trying to protect the “Celtic Warrior” by booking him in 6 man tag team matches, where he barely takes any bumps.
Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer & Bryan Alvarez recently talked about how Sheamus’ injury can shorten his career. Below is their discussion:
Meltzer: He’s wrestling. He’s on tour but he’s been rehabbing his neck. He’s got spinal stenosis. That’s not a good thing. It’s probably career shortening. As far as how long he can go, I mean he’s already in his late 30s.
So you don’t know. Spinal stenosis is a bad thing when you get older and it has ended some careers prematurely. But guys have worked on it for years as well. So it’s not like he’s done now. But it’s not a good thing.
Alvarez: There have been clips of him I guess just getting his neck stretched out, I guess stretch his spine out. Stenosis is basically the narrowing of the spine. Do we know if there have been any kind of breakthroughs in treating spinal stenosis since Austin and various other guys went down to it years and years ago?
Meltzer: I don’t know. I haven’t studied that one. So I don’t have an answer.

So this probably means Rusev is all natural. Yeah, sure….
