• WWE Trying To Throw Fans Off Regarding Their Plans For Top RAW Star
Former WWE Champion Dean Ambrose was backstage at last week’s RAW and is expected to be cleared to return to in-ring action soon, according to the Dirty Sheets.
There were reports that the Intercontinental Championship match for SummerSlam 2018 could be turned into a multi-man match by involving the likes of Finn Balor & Drew McIntyre in the match as well, but it looks like it will stay a one-on-one match between Dolph Ziggler and Seth Rollins.
Current plan is for McIntyre to be in Ziggler’s corner and Ambrose to be in Rollins’ corner for this Intercontinental Championship bout at SummerSlam 2018.
Despite this, RAW General Manager Kurt Angle mentioned on last night’s RAW that Dean Ambrose can’t be Seth Rollins’ tag team partner as he isn’t ready to compete.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer noted that WWE did this to throw fans off regarding their plan for Ambrose (which we mentioned above).
