• WWE Wants To Bring Back Another Released Wrestler

WWE released Braun Strowman in June due to budget cuts. Strowman was on a $1.2 million per year contract.

Strowman received this big money contract back in 2019, as WWE was offering a lot of money when AEW came to the wrestling scene.

Aleister Black was also released along with Strowman, and he has already signed with AEW as Malakai Black.

With reports of CM Punk and Daniel Bryan signing with AEW, Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE Officials are interested in bringing back Braun Strowman (to ensure AEW doesn’t end up signing him as well).

This looks highly possible, as WWE also brought back Samoa Joe after releasing him from the company. Tap here to read spoiler on Joe’s in-ring return.
