Today would have been the 106th birthday of legendary Old School Promoter Vince McMahon Sr. (Vincent J. McMahon).

Vincent James McMahon was the father of “Mr. McMahon” Vince McMahon Jr. and the grandfather of Shane McMahon & Stephanie McMahon.

He was known as the promoter of Capitol Wrestling Corporation, which later turned into the World Wide Wrestling Federation and eventually became the World Wrestling Federation, before Vince Jr. took over in 1982.

In 1996, Vince Sr. was posthumously inducted into the WWF Hall of Fame (now known as WWE Hall of Fame) by his grandson Shane McMahon.

• WWE Wrestler Might Need A 2nd Surgery To Make A Return

Ember Moon hasn’t been seen on WWE programming for months due to an achilles injury. Shortly after returning from her elbow injury, Moon tore her achilles tendon on the September 24th episode of SmackDown last year.

She has been in rehab since then, but it doesn’t look like her recovery is going well.

While speaking to ComicBook, Moon said that she might need a second surgery because her injury is really bad.

“It’s just a very, very long process and I would love, love, love to have a date back on the board but it’s up in the air. I’m sitting here and I’m fighting a second surgery. I’m fighting against the second surgery. That’s how bad it is. When I went on Backstage and I said, ‘I don’t know if I’m ever going to wrestle again,’ I meant what I said and I, I stand by that.

I was so in my feelings [on WWE Backstage] ’cause I just found out about the complications like, the day before. I was still very much so in my feelings about it to the point where I cried on international television and I’m so ashamed, but sometimes you need that outlet sometimes to say those things, because people like Mark [Henry], people like Booker, even the boss man, Triple H has been checking up on me. Another person from the company that is a legend reached out and was trying to help me out with rehab options and stuff like that.

Honestly like what has made the biggest difference thus far because everything that they’ve said has been helping so much more than me just doing the normal situation because of that complication. So yeah, like there is a light, it is getting better. I just don’t have a time-frame and I don’t know when.”

Over a month ago, Moon stated on WWE Backstage that her career might be over due to this injury.
