• Good News For Goldberg Fans

Goldberg is getting closer to his return to WWE, and he shared a positive update about his health ahead of his planned retirement match. Speaking on the Carcast podcast, the 58-year-old WWE Hall of Famer gave fans a glimpse into his current condition after undergoing stem cell treatment:

“I feel a little bit better, I’ve gained a little bit of weight, man. Done a little kickboxing on the weekends. I’m getting there, man. I’ve got a little bit of time left. Slowly but surely, Rome wasn’t built in a day.”

Goldberg also confirmed that he’s not dealing with any injuries right now. “Believe me, it’s been really tough to control myself but I think I’m on a good schedule. I’m injury free as of right now.”

He gave a specific update on his shoulder, which has been a major concern in the past:

“Much better. I mean, geez, I can do things with it — I couldn’t do anything with it in December. It’s one of those things — it’s like rebuilding a car. You’ve got to strip it down to the bare minimum and sequentially build it in a logical form. It applies with a vehicle, it applies with your body.

I can’t get overzealous and put sh*t on before it’s time. It’s a very slow process but I think the way I’m going about it is hopefully gonna work.”

While WWE has yet to announce anything official, internal discussions have taken place, and speculation continues to grow about a match between Goldberg and Gunther.

Goldberg’s last WWE match took place over 3 years ago, at Elimination Chamber 2022 in Saudi Arabia, where he lost to Roman Reigns in a match for the Universal Championship.

The WCW Legend has noted in past interviews that he had COVID before this match and couldn’t train properly for it, and that’s why it’s very important for him to come back for one final match, where he will give it his all and retire.
