• WWE Wrestlers Take Shots At AEW’s Ring Explosion Botch At Revolution 2021
As seen in the main event of tonight’s AEW Revolution 2021 pay-per-view, Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson) helped Kenny Omega defeat Jon Moxley in a brutal “Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch” to retain the AEW World Championship.
The heels kept attacking Moxley after the match and handcuffed both of Moxley’s hands behind his back. They didn’t want Moxley to leave the ring as the ring was scheduled to explode in a few minutes.
Eddie Kingston came out to save Moxley, but couldn’t do it. The ring exploded, but it looked like it was botched as only a little pyro & smoke went off.
Many fans compared the “explosion” to Gillberg’s weak entrance pyro.
WWE NXT wrestler Shotzi Blackheart thought the same and tweeted a GIF of Gillberg’s entrance pyro after the Revolution main event:

RAW wrestler T-Bar then went on to tweet the following:
Tune in tomorrow night at 8PM EST for an explosive new episode of @WWE Monday Night RAW on the @USA_Network!#RETRIBUTION

After the PPV went off the air, Moxley said the following about the ring explosion botch:
“Kenny Omega may be a tough son of a b*tch, but he can’t make an exploding ring worth a sh*t!”
Moxley then thanked the fans for coming out and ended by saying that AEW is going to take over.
You can watch it below:
.@JonMoxley didn’t regain the belt tonight but he regained a friend in Eddie Kingston! King came to save Mox from the final blast, which wasn’t enough to keep Mox & Eddie down for good!
