• WWE’s Plan Reportedly Backfires At Hell In A Cell 2018

As seen at Hell In A Cell 2018, Becky Lynch defeated Charlotte Flair via pinfall to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Lynch is now a two time SmackDown Women’s Champion.

According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE officials reportedly made last minute changes to the outcome of this Title match.

In an update to this, the Wrestling Observer also noted that the plan for this match was for Charlotte Flair to become a babyface by the time match ended (babyface as per fan reaction that is) and for Becky to become a heel, but that obviously backfired as fans cheered big time when Becky won the Title.
