Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, Vince McMahon & Janel Grant.
• WWE fans are set to witness a major clash as tensions between Kevin Owens and Randy Orton continue to rise, after Owens attacked Orton this past Friday on SmackDown.
The perfect stage for their heated rivalry might be Saturday Night’s Main Event, airing LIVE on NBC and Peacock on December 14 at 8 PM EST.
The Wrestling Observer suggested that this storyline could take the spotlight at the event. WWE is reportedly aiming for a “shoot-style” match, meaning fans can expect a more intense, realistic bout compared to typical wrestling matches.
The event, held at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, is part of WWE’s quarterly programming on NBC, and they seem intent on making it a standout occasion.
“They want to make it like ‘this is not part of the pro wrestling entertainment aspect of the show’. They want it to come off like ‘this is a shoot, this is real’. I think Saturday Night’s Main Event, not official but I think that’s where it’s going to be.”

• Attorneys representing Janel Grant have filed a new legal motion against Dr. Carlon Colker, the owner of Peak Wellness, Inc., in a Connecticut state court. The motion alleges that Vince McMahon sent Grant to Dr. Colker’s clinic, where she was $exually abused by McMahon and a clinic employee. It is also claimed that McMahon accessed her private medical records and directed her treatment at the clinic.
The motion includes disturbing details, alleging that McMahon and a physical therapist at Peak Wellness $exually abused Grant multiple times, with one incident involving McMahon defecating on her head while forcing her to continue a $exual act with the employee.
Grant was a patient at the clinic from November 2019 to April 2022 and visited more than 60 times. Additionally, it is claimed that Dr. Colker medicated her with unknown substances, sometimes intravenously.
On July 1, 2024, Grant filed a Bill of Discovery seeking access to her medical and billing records and any communications between McMahon and Colker. Peak Wellness responded with a motion to dismiss, which Grant’s attorneys are now seeking to overturn. Ann Callis, Grant’s attorney, emphasized that Dr. Colker violated ethical standards by administering unknown medications and refusing to answer Grant’s questions.
The legal filing requests eight categories of documents from Colker and Peak Wellness, including Grant’s medical records, billing procedures, payment records, details of her treatments, communications between McMahon and Colker, and information regarding a non-disclosure agreement negotiation.
