• WWE’s SummerSlam 2020 Plan Might Be Ruined

WWE had been working hard on relocating SummerSlam 2020 to a place where they can have the event with fans.

The city of Boston (where it was scheduled to take place) won’t allow large gatherings until September, so the event taking place there is impossible, unless WWE waits until September.

It looks like the recent COVID-19 cases in the company just made things worse.

WrestleVotes is reporting that WWE may be forced to hold the event without fans at the Performance Center in Florida.

“Recently asked for an update on SummerSlam, source said 2 or 3 weeks ago he was certain WWE would find a way to do it w/ an audience. Today, very much unsure. As badly as they don’t want the event at the PC, unfortunately that’s very much on the table. Decision not yet imminent.”
