• WWF Legend Becomes World Champion On Tonight’s AEW Dynamite
On last Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage, Claudio Castagnoli (fka Cesaro in WWE) said that the ROH World Championship represents Honor and he & Dax Harwood showed it in their match the previous week.
Chris Jericho interrupted and said that he has accomplished a lot in his career and has won Titles in WCW, WWF, WWE, New Japan, and wa s the first ever AEW World Champion.
Jericho said that he’s going for The Ocho #8 and issued a challenge to Claudio for the ROH World Title. Claudio accepted and it was made official.
In the opening match of tonight’s AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, Jericho went on to defeat Castagnoli to become the new ROH World Champion.
