• WWF Legend Hates To Admit That He Was Jealous Of Hulk Hogan

On an episode of his weekly ‘The Snake Pit’ podcast, WWF Legend Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts admitted that he was jealous of then WWF World Heavyweight Champion ‘The Immortal’ Hulk Hogan.

Here’s what Jake had to say:

“Sure, there was resentment and jealousy. I hate to admit that, but there was resentment. There was also jealousy. I wanted to be a part of it, man.

And I made the mistake, when we first wrestled, not to do the same old sh*t. You know? Not to pattern my match with The Hulkster the way he patterned every match.”

Jake Roberts wrestled for the World Wrestling Federation from 1986 until 1992, then went to Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling for a few months in 1992, but eventually returned to the WWF for another run from 1996 till 1997.
