We reported that Old School WWF Legend Mark Henry originally joined Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling earlier this year because he didn’t feel WWE was using him properly, plus he wanted to return to the ring for AEW when the time is right.

After a recent Q&A at a Fan Fest, things aren’t looking all that well for a potential in-ring return anymore though.

Here’s what The World’s Strongest Man said after a fan asked him about wrestling a match in AEW:

“Oh man, I’d love to but my back hurts. And if somebody hits me I’m calling the police. So if you’d like to spend time in a small cell, come hit me. No thank you.”

Earlier this year, Henry revealed that he dropped 80 pounds of weight to prepare for his in-ring return.

Henry’s last match took place in April 2018, when he competed in the 50-man Greatest Royal Rumble. His last singles match took place in February 2017, where he lost to Braun Strowman.
