• WWF Legend Thinks AEW Gives Their Wrestlers Too Much Time Off

On the latest edition of his weekly ‘Wooooo Nation UNCENSORED’ podcast, 16-time World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair claimed that All Elite Wrestling gives its wrestlers too much time off.

Here’s what the 2-time WWE Hall Of Famer had to say:

“Well, you can become a star for a short period of time but to me, especially if you’ve just lost a big match, you need to be back on it the next day.

Unfortunately, I think today some of the kids when they get to a match where it’s a big finale they want time off. I don’t agree with that either.

I think they need to be on TV, the stars that want to be the players. It’s the same 10 people right now in WWE that it was 5 years ago. It’s good, that’s how you build your brand.”

Ric Flair is heavily rumored to join his soon-to-be son-in-law Andrade El Idolo in AEW, but Tony Khan probably hasn’t signed him yet because of the 2021 controversy about the infamous ‘Plane Ride From Hell’ season 3 episode of VICE’s Dark Side of the Ring.
