There was speculation that the winner of CWC will be crowned the Cruiserweight Champion of the Raw brand, but that doesn’t look to be the case now as the winner is getting a trophy.

During an appearance on WZ Radio, Brian Knobs of the Nasty Boyz talked about WWE not having guys like “Tugboat” in this so called “New Era”. Below is what he said:

“Dean Ambrose, he may be light and skinny but I saw one heck of a match between he and Seth Rollins maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago. It was a lot of bing, bang, boom but there was a story to it. I thought it was one of the best matches I’d seen in a long time. Especially on RAW. It was really good. John Cena is still out there doing his thing. It’s so funny because when we were in that spot and the eras were changing some of the younger guys were coming in and that’s just the way it is today.

It looks like Cena and them are the “over” wrestlers or the “veteran” wrestlers and these new guys are coming in like Kevin Owens. I like him. He’s not just skinny with small trunks. He’s kind of like a Nasty Boy. He’s got a shirt on. He’s thick. He’s got a little beer stomach there. I like that. He wrestles good.”

5. Impact Wrestling Viewership Increases, Sunny Avoids Jail Time

The latest episode of TNA Impact Wrestling, featuring build-up for Bound For Glory 2016, James Storm’s suspension and Fatal 4 Way tag team ladder match, drew 355,000 viewers, This is up from previous week’s 315,000 viewers.

TMZ posted the following regarding WWE Hall of Famer Sunny avoiding jail time due to her rehab:

“WWE Hall of Famer Tammy Sytch — aka Sunny — just caught a HUUUUGGGE break in her triple DUI case … avoiding serious jail time thanks to her 97 days in rehab. Sytch appeared in court in Pennsylvania on Thursday to be sentenced for the three DUI convictions she racked up in 2015.

Each DUI carried a maximum of 90 days in jail — but Sytch pulled off a miracle in court. The judge sentenced her to a grand total of 90 days in jail for all 3 DUIs — but gave her jail credit for the 97 days she spent in a rehab center earlier this year … so says her attorney Matthew Schnell.

In addition, she got 5 years parole with bi-weekly alcohol testing, 125 hours of community service and will have to pay roughly $2,100 in fines. We’re told the judge also made it clear … Tammy’s in a zero-tolerance situation — one slip-up and it’s the pokey for her.

Tammy tells us she’s 152 days sober, feels great and dedicated to staying on track.”
