Xavier Woods got hurt last night and isn’t cleared to compete next week.

Below is what the former Tag Team Champion tweeted about it:

“I had a chair hurled into my face giving me whiplash. Doctors orders, no wrestling next week.

Was pumped to be out there on my birthday but it looks like I’ll be spending it at home next Monday. See yall the week after!”

– Brian Pillman Jr. (son of WWF/WCW Veteran Brian Pillman) left AEW last month after his 3-year deal with the company expired, and AEW President Tony Khan decided not to renew it.

Soon after that, he was spotted training at the WWE Performance Center, which began speculation that he would get signed by WWE, and there were also reports of “immediate interest” in Pillman Jr. from WWE’s side.

According to PWInsider, Pillman Jr. started with WWE NXT this week after he had a tryout last month.

It was also noted that WWE is in “no rush” to debut him on television as they want him to get used to the Performance Center system first.
