• “Your passion and dedication hasn’t ever changed” – John Cena On Losing To RAW Star At WrestleMania

WWE Evil documentary series is now available to watch on the WWE Network / Peacock.

One of the episode in this series is about The Miz.

WWE Legend John Cena is the Executive Producer of this series and he tweeted the following about The Miz:

“One of my favorite bad guys and #WrestleMania opponents. He reminds everyone all the time! #WWEEvil”

Miz then replied:

“Hey @JohnCena, remember when I beat you at #WrestleMania?”

Cena then praised Miz for defeating him at the Show of Shows in 2011:

“I do. Vividly. You worked your a** off on the road to the event and at the event itself. Sacrificing your body during the event to do all you could to give the audience every ounce, even possibly at the expense of your own memory. Your passion and dedication hasn’t ever changed.”

In the main event of WrestleMania 27, The Miz defeated John Cena to retain the WWE Championship.

This match originally ended in a Double Count-Out (a spot where Miz suffered a concussion after his head bounced on the concrete floor), but WrestleMania Host The Rock restarted it.

The Rock hit Cena with the Rock Bottom in the end, which led to Miz pinning Cena to pick up the win. Rock then laid out The Miz as well.
