Below are the results from tonight’s WWE SmackDown, featuring the return of Zack Ryder, Drew McIntyre returning from suspension, WarGames update & more.
– Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss discussed their plan for the Women’s WarGames Match at Survivor Series 2025. Charlotte said she has to tell the truth and it’s that she doesn’t like Rhea and can’t be on the same team as her because she thinks Rhea is a snake and that she doesn’t trust her due to their past history. Charlotte walked out on her team and left the ring.
– Jey Uso def. The Miz in The Last Time Is Now tournament
– In a backstage segment, Tommaso Ciampa complained to Nick Aldis about Ilja Dragunov not giving him a United States Championship match despite answering the open challenge. Ilja said he doesn’t give title shots to jacka$$es, he gives them to men with honor, and tonight, it’s going to be Axiom.
– Cody Rhodes vs. “Big” Bronson Reed for the Undisputed WWE Championship was set up in Nick Aldis’ office for tonight’s SmackDown.
– Ilja Dragunov (c) def. Axiom to retain the United States Championship
Tommaso Ciampa attacked Axiom after the match, which led to Nathan Frazer chasing Ciampa away.
– R-Truth shined up his “balls” and gave them to Nick Aldis again. Nick, clearly frustrated, took them and Truth told him to handle them gently. Chelsea Green complained to Aldis about not getting pyro when she won the U.S. Title. Aldis gave R-Truth’s balls to Chelsea.
– Sami Zayn announced that he has been medically cleared. A brawl broke out between The MFTs and Sami, Shinsuke Nakamura, Rey Fenix, and Motor City Machine Guns.
– Jimmy Uso told Cody Rhodes that he talked to CM Punk earlier and he’s on their WarGames team now. Jey Uso didn’t look happy with this.
– Nick Aldis announced My Family Tree vs. Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, Rey Fenix, and Motor City Machine Guns in a 5 on 5 Elimination Match in two weeks on SmackDown.
– Zack Ryder returned to the WWE main roster after 5 years as LA Knight’s surprise opponent in John Cena’s Last Time Is Now tournament.

– The Kabuki Warriors, Nia Jax, and Lash Legend attacked Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, and Alexa Bliss backstage.
– WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill def. B-Fab
Michin checked on B-Fab after the match and Cargill confronted her. Cargill shoved down Michin.
– Nick Aldis revealed the following matches for The Last Time Is Now tournament, which will take place on next week’s SmackDown:
Penta vs. Finn Balor
Bronson Reed vs. Carmelo Hayes
– Carmelo Hayes cut a promo after being announced for the John Cena tournament:
“50% of people might overlook me. 50% of people might know that I can get the job done. But 100% of me knows that if I get that shot, I won’t miss.”
Bronson Reed interrupted and said he’s about to end Cody Rhodes, then he’s going to end Carmelo Hayes. In the end, he’s going to end John Cena’s career.
– Cody Rhodes (c) def. Bronson Reed via DQ to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship after Bron Breakker and Logan Paul attacked The American Nightmare
The Usos made the save and took out Breakker and Logan. Jimmy & Jey Uso hit Logan with the 1D. They took out a table and were looking to hit Logan with a double Frog Splash through the table, but Drew McIntyre showed up and prevented that from happening.
Nick Aldis showed up and Paul Heyman reminded him that he confirmed with Aldis earlier that he can choose anyone for WarGames, so he decided to choose a suspended McIntyre. The heels took out the babyfaces to end the show.
