• Zelina Vega Deletes Controversial Tweets After Her Return To WWE

On Friday’s episode of SmackDown, Zelina Vega returned to WWE. She was released from the company last year after she refused to follow WWE’s new third-party rule.

Sonya Deville put Zelina in the Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match without any qualification match.

Liv Morgan had a problem with this and faced Zelina in a singles match and defeated her.

Zelina tweeted the following about her return to WWE:

“What to take from tonight:

I’m back.

I’m going to be in the MITB ladder match.

..and I will win.

Period. Everything else is irrelevant.”

According to PWInsider, WWE Executives apologized to her before her return to the company:

“WWE execs apologized to Vega and made her an offer to return. Eventually, she decided to go through that open door and signed back with the company.

There are differing accounts as to when that happened. One source told me May. Another told me it was much sooner than that but all sides opted to keep it quiet so they could strategize a return.”

With that being said, Zelina has deleted two controversial tweets that she made last year, after her release from the company.

In the first deleted tweet, she posted “I support unionization”. In the second deleted tweet, Zelina talked about having a “powerful” conversation with SAG-AFTRA (The Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television & Radio Artists).
