Complete RAW After WrestleMania 40 Results

Below are the complete results from tonight’s RAW after WrestleMania 40.

– Triple H kicked off tonight’s RAW and said that was the greatest WrestleMania of all time, and it was also the biggest WrestleMania of all time on every metric.

HHH said it’s a new era and then welcomed the man that will lead them into this new era – the new Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes.

Cody gave out with his championship and shook Triple H’s hand. HHH raised Cody’s hand. HHH thanked him for ending the greatest title reign of all time of Roman Reigns and that Cody deserves it.

Triple H said he received a call two hours after WrestleMania and they have something for Cody. HHH then played a video package for Cody and thanked him for drawing the highest grossing RAW ever, including over 20,000 fans in attendance tonight.

Cody got emotional while watching this video. Triple H and Cody hugged after this and a huge “you deserve it” chant started.

Triple H left and Cody said Samantha Irvin knows what he’s going to ask. Samantha Irvin then introduced Cody as the new champion.

Cody acknowledged Roman Reigns’ 1,316-day reign as champion and a “Thank You Roman” chant started. Cody called Roman the most important wrestler of his generation.

Rhodes said he went from undesirable to undeniable to undisputed. The Rock then came out! Fans start chanting Undertaker at Rock! Rock begins talking and fans start chanting “shut the f**k up!”. He said The Rock is a lot of things, but sucks isn’t one of them. An “a$$hole” chant started after this.

Rock said Philadelphia also broke the record for the biggest gathering of trailer park trash, so chant shut the f**k up now! Cody raised his title and the fans cheered, Rock raised his title and the fans booed. Rock said he came to give Cody his flowers because Cody finished his story. Rock said Dusty Rhodes was his hero as well.

The Rock said he likes Cody’s title, it’s beautiful and asked:

“Is there any way The Rock can hold that title?”

Rock said he has held a lot of titles, but he has not held this design one.

Cody said Rock can hold it for a moment, as long as he can hold the People’s Championship. They exchanged titles. Rock put the WWE Title on his shoulder and said this feels right and thanked Cody and returned the title.

Rock said he has to go away for a while now. Fans started “Goodbye” chants. Rock said when he comes back, he’s going to come back for Cody, whether Cody is champion or not. Cody said he’s looking forward to it.

The Rock reminded that before Cody defeated Roman, he defeated Cody. Rock said Cody’s story with Roman is over, but their story has just begun.

Rock then took something out of his pocket and put it in Cody’s hand. Rock said Cody doesn’t even have to open his hand to know what it is and said “don’t you ever break my heart again”. Cody is visibly angry with this.

– The 2024 WWE Draft will take place on April 26th SmackDown and April 29th RAW.

– NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov def. Shinsuke Nakamura

– New World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest debuted a new theme song. Priest and Rhea Ripley were posing with their titles and R-Truth joined in with the RAW Tag Team Championship out of nowhere! Priest isn’t happy and wants Truth to leave. Truth said he brought the Tag Team Title back to Judgment Day, so it’s full circle! Truth now wants Judgment Day to add The Miz to the faction as well. Miz came out and said he doesn’t want to be in The Judgment Day.

Truth proposed a 6-man tag team match against Judgment Day. Truth told Miz their partner is the person you can’t see. Truth was about to introduce their partner and Judgment Day attacked them.

– John Cena and RAW Tag Team Champions Awesome Truth (The Miz & R-Truth) def. Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh)

– Rhea Ripley told Dominik Mysterio to handle Andrade. Liv Morgan then attacked Ripley. Ripley’s next feud will be against Morgan.

– NXT Women’s Champions Roxanne Perez def. Indi Hartwell

– Jey Uso congratulated Sami Zayn on winning the Intercontinental Championship backstage.

– Natalya said she’ll face NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez tomorrow night.

– New Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn gave Gunther his flowers and said The Ring General was the best IC Champion ever, but he beat him. Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci interrupted. Kaiser told the fans:

“Your new Intercontinental Champion looks like a bum.”

Kaiser & Vinci were about to attack Zayn, but Chad Gable came out to even the odds.

– Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn & Chad Gable def. Imperium (Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci)

Gable pinned Vinci to pick up the win for his team.

– Jade Cargill def. Chelsea Green

This was Jade’s first singles match in WWE. You can watch this short match below:

– Sami Zayn is giving Chad Gable an Intercontinental Championship match on next week’s RAW in Montreal.

– Drew McIntyre said some people think him losing the World Heavyweight Championship in 5 minutes is happy, but it’s still longer than what most of these people last in bed.

McIntyre said that bondage Undertaker Damian Priest went & screwed it all up. Drew wants to kick Damian’s a$$, but Priest will likely enjoy that. McIntyre said he’s coming for Priest and that Priest will be a transitional champion.

Drew shifted his attention to CM Punk and said Punk went into business for himself at WrestleMania 40, and blamed him for losing the World Heavyweight Title to Priest. Drew declared that the next time he sees Punk, he’s going straight for his weakest point – which is his entire body.

– Jey Uso def. Drew McIntyre, Ricochet & Bronson Reed in a Fatal 4-Way match to become the #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship

Drew had the match won, but CM Punk interfered and stopped Drew from hitting Jey with the Claymore Kick by holding his leg.
