Below are some top WWE & TNA news stories of the day, featuring Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre.

• Jinder Mahal took to X to announce that he has quit WWE. Here’s what he tweeted:

“I Quit. Maharaja Out.”

He wrote the following in his X bio:

“Free Agent – 90 Days.”

While Mahal announced that he quit WWE, Jinder was actually released and has a 90-day non-compete clause.

According to PWInsider, the running joke among WWE talent backstage is that Jinder will feud with Tony Khan this summer on AEW Dynamite.

For those who don’t remember, Tony criticized WWE for booking Jinder in a World Title match on RAW in January, despite Jinder being on a losing streak for a year. Jinder then took a shot at Hook.

McIntyre showed support for Mahal by posting the following:

“We showed them once. Now show them again, brother.”

• The following non-PG moment took place at last night’s TNA Rebellion PPV, after Rich Swann (with A. J. Francis fka Top Dolla in WWE) defeated Joe Hendry:

• In the opening match of WrestleMania 40 – Night 2, Drew McIntyre defeated Seth Rollins to win the World Heavyweight Championship and finally get his World Title victory moment in front of fans.

Just 5 minutes later, he lost the Title to Mr. Money In The Bank Damian Priest, who cashed-in his contract.

According to PWInsider, McIntyre suffered a badly hyperextended elbow during his match against Seth. However, Drew isn’t taking time off and is working through the injury.
